When my 10 year old granddaughter went with her parents to the obstetrician’s office, she knew she would soon see a picture of her 5 month old sibling in utero. In a frontal sonogram picture, she saw him with his fist clenched in front of his face like a prizefighter. In another side shot, he was sucking his thumb.
Recall that as a state senator in Illinois, Mr. Obama had the opportunity to give legal protection to aborted babies who were, by accident, born alive. He voted against it three times. That is to say, he supported infanticide.
Infanticide is a grisly and ancient practice. In the days of Israel’s First Temple, Judah’s longest reigning and most evil king was Manasseh. One of his most heinous deeds was offering his own son to the god Moloch, ultimately causing God to bring down the monarchy (2Kings 21: 6,12,13). Moloch had been the god of the Canaanites before the Jews inherited the Promised Land. In some instances a hollow image of Moloch the size of a man with outstretched hands would be fashioned out of metal. A fire would then be kindled within the metal idol. The baby to be sacrificed was then laid in the arms of the idol, and slowly burned to death. Did the parents actually stand and watch the tortuous death of their own flesh and blood?
Equally disgusting and horrendous was the ancient Carthaginian culture. Over 20,000 urns have been discovered, with the charred remains of infants and young children. Written records reveal the chief diety of Carthage was Baal, another name for Moloch. What was the fascination with murdering innocent babies in days gone by? Some have hypothesized that when innocent blood is shed, power is released in the realms of evil. Or possibly this slaughter is just a way for those associated with the dark side to try to "get back at" God. In the Western Hemisphere, the Mayan culture was also drawn toward human sacrifice; likewise, the Celts in Europe.
Of course in our modern world, people are too sophisticated to sacrifice children to demon gods, Satanic rituals notwithstanding. But human nature and the Satanic lust for blood remain. And so with the 20th century a new "right" was discovered in America.. The right to privacy, discovered by some old men in black robes sitting in the highest court in the land. After Roe V Wade became legal by judicial fiat, things began going south in the land of the free and the home of the brave. Many young women, during the greatest crisis of their lives, found themselves pregnant and in need of a hand. In those days Planned Parenthood told those women, many of them black, there was nothing but a "mass of protoplasm" in their wombs.
Consequently, almost 50,000,000 innocent American children have had their lives snuffed out on the altar of convenience. But science has progressed, and today sonograms illustrate with remarkable clarity that those little people in utero are just like you and me. Only not to Senator Obama and the Libs. It’s just too hard for them to figure out, above their pay grade.
The last thing this country needs is another leader like Manasseh.
