Romans 8:38-39 (King James Version)

38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Mom Song

by Marcus Rhoads
Our gratitude goes to Don Townsend of Chester, CA for this story idea “Thanks Dad”

This weekend, the worship team paid homage to the hardest working woman in the world … Mom. Northland’s own Patti Harshey sang “The Mom Song,” a light-hearted ditty describing everything Mom says in a 24-hour period. Set to the “William Tell Overture” and played by Tim Tracey and Susan Eissele, this song served as a perfect segue into Dr. Hunter’s sermon on
“Mother’s Nature (Mother’s Job Description).”

4The serpent said to the woman, "You surely will not die!"
5"For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
Now the Truths:
2 Corinthians 11 (New American Standard Bible)
3But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
Isaiah 44 (New American Standard Bible)
There Is No Other God
6"Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: 'I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.
Hebrews 9 (New American Standard Bible)
27And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,
