On this week's edition of "The Hal Lindsey Report,"
I'll discuss a doctrine that has been a bone of contention in the Church for the past century: The Rapture. What is the Rapture? When will it occur? Who will be involved? Some confuse the Rapture with the Second Coming. This week, I'll define the distinction. I'll also show you how many Christians fail to understand this bedrock doctrine in much the same way that the ancient Israelites failed to distinguish between the two portraits of the coming Messiah in the writings of the prophets. It's important for the Church and her leaders to take this prophecy seriously. We need to be about 'our Father's business,' and part of that business is to proclaim the nearness of Christ's coming. But it's hard to actively proclaim it if you don't understand it -- or even believe it!
