Romans 8:38-39 (King James Version)

38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hal Lindsey news letter

June 19th, 2008
This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report

This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report'On this week's edition of "The Hal Lindsey Report," I'll tell you about an interesting dilemma. The world is in a fossil fuel crisis. Who really knows if it's a genuine or manipulated shortage of supply? Every side of the issue (and there are several, not just two) makes a good argument and claims to have the facts to back it up. There are the Middle East oil barons, the multi-national oil mega-corporations, the market speculators, the enviro-nuts, the industries scrambling to guarantee their fuel supplies in the coming years, the emerging industrial nations that can and will buy every drop of oil anyone will sell them, the Islamist factions seeking to use the oil to compel political changes, and others I've not even thought of yet. Caught between these behemoths pursuing their own sometimes sinister agendas are you and I and every other regular person in the world who needs to buy enough gas to get to work, the grocery store, church, and home. We're the ones footing the bill. And we're the ones who can least afford it! Honda, the Japanese automaker, is proving that the world's energy crisis really is just a FOSSIL FUEL crisis. They've produced a car that runs on hydrogen and produces emissions that are largely water. In some ways, kinder to the ecology than a cow! And they're not just thinking about doing it, the car is in full production right now. Several hundred will arrive in Southern California this year and several thousand next year. Which begs the question: if this technology is sufficiently developed for a commercial carmaker to produce them off the assembly line, why haven't American automakers and the government embraced it and wholeheartedly pursued it? Talk about breaking the chokehold on American policy of the Islamist Middle East regimes!

Remember A.Q. Khan, the shadowy Pakistani known as the 'Father of the Islamic Bomb?' He's back in the news again. It seems his infamous 'network' did more than just provide nuclear know-how to rogue states like Libya, North Korea, Syria, and Iran. Apparently, it produced blueprints for the construction of miniaturized nuclear warheads for ballistic missiles. And it now appears that Iran has had those blueprints for the last 10 years! This fact substantially changes the scope and immediacy of the threat Iran poses in its mad dash to nuclear capability. Now the West is face-to-face with the sobering reality that Iran may be perilously close to having nuclear-tipped missiles. They've probably been working on it for the last decade -- with plans in hand! And that's something that Western intelligence didn't count on! This revelation casts new light on Isaiah's prediction about the fate of Damascus, Syria. In fact, it introduces a whole new, fascinating dilemma. I'll discuss the prospective scenarios with you this week.

Did you know that the World Health Organization recently reversed its estimation of the danger that HIV/AIDS poses to the world's heterosexual population? You didn't hear it from the mainstream media, did you? That's because the Gay Rights Lobby, which influences Big Media enormously (maybe even controls it!), doesn't want you to know. In fact, it now appears that the whole global AIDS pandemic threat may have been a hoax, or at least greatly inflated. I'll tell you more on the show.

Finally, imagine how difficult it must be for a man born blind to understand the concept of color. He's never seen color. How can you communicate the concept of color to him? In the same way, man cannot understand the kingdom of God. He's never seen it; he cannot perceive it. Fortunately, though, there's a remedy for him. He can be 'born again.' I'll share more thoughts on this subject on the program.

Jimmy DeYoung's News Update

Remember the first lie?

The Lie:
Genesis 3 (New American Standard Bible)
4The serpent said to the woman, "You surely will not die!"
5"For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
Now the Truths:
2 Corinthians 11 (New American Standard Bible)
3But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
Isaiah 44 (New American Standard Bible)
There Is No Other God
6"Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: 'I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.
Hebrews 9 (New American Standard Bible)
27And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,
